Awesomely Awkward

Let’s face it. If we’re able to even have a normal conversation with the male species, we count that as a win. Getting them to actually want to spend time with us on a more permanent basis? Epic Win. Having had no experience in these matters, I can only base the research of this post on the books I’ve read, things I’ve watched and whatever I’ve daydreamed.

Ok girls, admit it. How many times have you read your favourite book and paid more attention to the female character and not the fictional, gorgeous male? How many times have you smacked yourself upside the head and said to yourself “just be more like more like her!” She makes it looks so easy right? To be single and carefree, to have interesting men seeking you out because you interest them. I could make the obvious point here about hello, fiction! but I won’t. Because I do it too, all the time. And if someone made that point to me, I’d stab them in the face.

Hello Confidence

Someone once told me that you can get away with anything if you act confident. I am pretty sure we were discussing how you could steal a television but I think it is still a good motto when it comes to the Life of the Perpetually Single.
